Mr. Wayne started in the real estate brokerage industry in 1979. Michael enjoyed a successful brokerage career, highlighted by brokering a midtown office building to Pernod-Ricard, a publicly-traded European liquor company, for their North American headquarters. He has concluded many transactions with large corporations, such as Sony Corporation, Verizon, and Holiday Inn. In addition, Mr. Wayne owns and manages various residential properties in Brooklyn, Queens, and New York City.

Michael Wayne - President & Founder
Paul Lowenfels – Vice President
In charge of management operations, Mr. Lowenfels oversees all tenant and building issues. A veteran of the business since 1980, Paul has the experience and real estate skills necessary for this difficult task. In addition, Paul coordinates all construction and vendor activity.
Case Wayne – Associate
Case first obtained his real estate license in 2010, and became a fully licensed broker in 2014. Case completed his BS in Real Estate in 2011 and MS in Entrepreneurship in 2012 at Syracuse University. Responsibilities include direct contact with clients in a management capacity, as well as full involvement with the showing, leasing, and negotiating of available space. Case also works directly with current owners, tenants, and co-op boards.
Kathy Pattay – Comptroller
Kathy oversees all books and records, which includes the preparation and distribution of monthly reports. Kathy is an expert with Yardi Software, a state-of-the-art web-based real estate software system. She supervised the IT transfer from BJ Murray to Yardi Systems.
Kathleen Martingale – Office Manager
Kathleen oversees all office staff and day-to-day operations. Kathleen was formerly with Julien J. Studley and Coldwell Banker. She has extensive real estate knowledge from subleasing to all areas of real estate transactions.
Joyce Fliegel - Staff
Mrs. Fliegel handles Cougar’s telephones and various office duties. Joyce previously worked for Swiss Air for seventeen years as a supervisor of telephone sales and customer service. Joyce was also a court reporter, and is a registered Notary Public. Joyce provides assistance with all office functions, including coordination of vendors, tenant communications, and administrative needs.
